Summing up activity of the enterprises of a transport-road complex of Ukraine for 9 months of the current year, it is necessary to note the positive tendencies of stabilization and gradual increase of economic parameters of branch. As acknowledgement of this fact the positive dynamics of finance-economic activities of a transport-road complex may serve.
So, for January-September 2002 the enterprises, which are included in management sphere of the Ministry of Transport, have been transported 294.2 million tons of cargoes (+5.9%). The volume of pa ssenger traffic for the accounting period has made 412.3 million persons (+1.9%).Vladimir Sen'kov

Complicating We Simplify!?
To the moment of coming into force of the new Customs code of Ukraine (January 01, 2003), the State Customs Service of Ukraine need to develop more than 300 normative-legal acts to improve working or create new mechanisms of regulation of customs procedures and also activity of customs service in system of state bodies. In this context the Order and conditions of declaring of customs cost of the goods moving through customs border of Ukraine is already developed by experts of Customs Service. The order is obligatory for the persons declaring the goods at import on customs territory of Ukraine. Exception is made by the physical persons moving the goods for own consumption or personal property.

Ship repair, the important branch of the national economy of Ukraine, today is buoyant owing to the reanimation of foreign ships. This fact is eloquently confirmed by statistics. In 1999 only in docks of Sevastopol 43 foreign vessels have received the second life, in 2000 and 2001 this figure has increased accordingly up to 58 and 55 units. From the beginning of the current year more than 30 foreign ships already flaunted after repair, leaving from water area of the Sevastopol port.
